ABOUT SWEETS&FLORALS SISTERS

Sweets&Florals Sisters was inspired and created based on the examples of both of my grandfathers whom I admired since I was a child. I had the privilege to grow up with both of them. They were baker and florist. Fresh bread and pastries bring joy, happiness and memories of unconditional love and care. Flowers were part my everyday life.

I learned how to plant, harvest and make unique arrangements under the care of not only my grandad and grandmother as well. She was an expert in creating the most beautiful wreaths. 

Recipes for cakes were passed from generation to generation. Some of them were kept secret and guessing ingredients was part and still is of recreating delicious memories of childhood. 

This is how the idea of business combining cakes and flowers came about. 

Every arrangement and cake for me is not just a product, it's a work of love and care given to every client. Every client, to me, is an individual who needs to receive special, unique treatment. All that I create is cartier to the likes, wants, and needs of the person receiving such a gift. While watching my grandfather's work, I saw love as the main ingredient and that's what I want to continue. Coming from the Polish heritage I understand the diversity and uniqueness of Canada. Being able to implement my experiences into Canadian culture, not only I'm giving part of myself but as well I'm learning and adjusting to the constantly changing world around me. I like to learn baking skills from different cultures, and love to implement unknown ingredients into my passion for baking.
